He began by ordering 500 application forms, 300 membership cards, and 1000 of these “Hands Off Cuba!” flyers from a local printer. On May 26, 1963, Oswald wrote to the headquarters of the pro-Castro Fair Play for Cuba Committee informing them that he wanted to organize a chapter in New Orleans.
